Syncube, the team behind Gift Card Hero, is partnering with Kiwi Apps, the team behind Kiwi Size Chart and Evey Events. The three apps answer one holiday question from different sides: what do you buy for someone when you don't know their size or their taste?

Kiwi Size Chart: fewer wrong-size gifts

When shoppers aren't sure about sizing, they hesitate or return the order, and a gift is the hardest order to size. Kiwi Size Chart adds size charts and AI-powered fit recommendations to product pages:

size charts with tables, images and videos, applied by product or by collection;
charts imported from images, product descriptions or CSV;
sizing units that switch to match the shopper's location.

Evey Events: gifts to experience

Some gifts aren't things. Evey Events lets a store sell tickets to workshops, classes, concerts and online events from its own Shopify store:

tickets delivered by email, as a PDF or in Apple Wallet;
attendee details collected during checkout;
QR code check-in at the door, with automatic confirmations and reminders.

Gift Card Hero: when nothing fits

Some shoppers still won't know the size, or the date that suits the recipient. A gift card lets the recipient choose:

branded eGift cards in any amount, with a message and a delivery date;
printed gift cards sold online and shipped, or sold at the register (physical cards);
returns refunded to a gift card in Shopify POS, onto a new card or one of the customer's existing cards, so the money stays in your store.

How to use them together

1On apparel pages, show Kiwi's size chart and fit recommendation next to the size selector, with a line under it: "Not sure of their size? Send a gift card."
2Sell workshops and events with Evey, and offer a gift card for recipients who may not make the date.
3After the holidays, refund returns to a gift card at the register, so the customer comes back to spend it.

Frequently asked questions

Do Kiwi Size Chart, Evey Events and Gift Card Hero integrate?

They don't exchange data. Each adds its own part to your Shopify store: size charts and fit recommendations, event tickets, gift cards. You can install any of them on its own.

Can I refund a return to a gift card on Shopify?

Yes, in Shopify POS. Natively, POS refunds to a new gift card, and to an existing one only for Shopify Payments transactions. With Gift Card Hero (PRO plan), staff refund from the order screen to a new card or one of the customer's existing cards. Details are in One gift card online and in store.
