This Privacy Policy describes how Discount Code at Cart Page ("DCART", "we", "us", or "our"), a Shopify application operated by Syncube, collects, uses, and protects information when you install and use our app. DCART enables Shopify merchants to display and apply discount codes directly on the cart page. This policy applies to all merchants who install the app and their interactions with our service.
Information We Collect
When you install DCART, we access certain information from your Shopify store as authorized by the Shopify API permissions you grant during installation. This includes your store URL, store name, email address, and information related to your discount codes and cart configuration. We also collect usage data such as app interactions, feature usage, browser type, IP address, and device information to improve our service. We do not collect personal information from your customers beyond what is necessary to apply discount codes during the checkout process.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the discount code display functionality on your cart page; process and apply discount codes for your customers; improve, personalize, and expand the app's features; communicate with you regarding updates, support, and service-related notices; monitor app performance and diagnose technical issues; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing to third parties.

We may use analytics cookies to understand how merchants interact with the app dashboard. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit via TLS/SSL, secure access controls, and regular security assessments. Access to merchant data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as the DCART app is installed on your Shopify store. Upon uninstallation, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely to improve our service.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred internationally. Our key service providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which the European Commission has recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection. As an additional safeguard, we also maintain Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, ensuring continued protection in the event of any changes to the DPF adequacy decision.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: the right to access and obtain a copy of your data; the right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data; the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"); the right to restrict processing; the right to data portability; the right to object to processing; and the right to withdraw consent.
